He is an expert in designing novel optical and imaging systems. Omer’s background includes innovations in bio-medical imaging products, optical communication, super resolution microscopy and controlling light in scattering media.
Board of directors
Rafael Piestun, PhD
Founder & President
Rafael Piestun has 27 years of experience in research and development in optics, photonics, and instrumentation. He is recognized worldwide as a leader in the field of computational optical imaging and the inventor of the Double Helix technology for 3D super-resolution microscopy. Prof. Piestun led the research that showed the first in-vivo demonstration of multimode fiber micro-endoscopy and his group realized several breakthroughs in wavefront shaping.
Christophe Moser, PhD
Founder
Christophe Moser is a Professor of Microengineering and Industrial Relations at EPFL. He co-founded and sold two start-ups to established large corporations (Ondax Inc. to Coherent and Composyt Light Labs to Intel), and more recently co-founded Readily3D and EarlySight. He has strong entrepreneurship and business expertise and is the co-inventor of 50 patents.
Demetri Psaltis, PhD
Founder
Demetri Psaltis is Professor of Optics at EPFL. He was a professor at CALTECH from 1980 to 2006, moving to EPFL in 2007. His research interests are imaging, holography, biophotonics, machine learning, nonlinear optics, electrolysis for hydrogen production and optofluidics. Dr. Psaltis is a fellow of the IEEE, OSA, European Optical Society and Society for Photo-optical Systems Engineering. He received the ICO Prize, the Humboldt Award, the Leith Medal, the Gabor Prize and the Fraunhofer Award.
